The Goat Farm- Atlanta

The Goat Farm is a decrepit venue in the heart of Atlanta.  Used in the earlier part of the 20th century as an ammo factory, it is now home to artists and musicians. This past weekend, I wandered around some of the buildings with a friend. Merely a photo venture. The neat thing about the Goat Farm is that it is the perfect example of urban decay. There were beer cans and ancient machinery littered all about. Here are some of my top photos. More are coming.

An old truck we saw lying around.

GT VSA Charity Dinner Photoshoot

This past weekend I was asked to conduct a photoshoot for the Georgia Tech Vietnamese Student Association charity dinner. The event was very well organized and well executed.  Here are my favorite shots of the night. And yes, that is me with the beard.

This past weekend, I went with a friend of mine to visit Auburn University. Reason? None.Worth it? Yes.

The adventure consisted of exploring the university campus and going to a basketball game. I really went to take pictures.  Here are my top 5. Enjoy!

Jordan-Hare Stadium. Hope of the Auburn Tigers. This team has won two national championships-most recently, in 2010.

A better shot, from the corner of the endzone.

William J. Samford Hall. It is the equivalent of Georgia Tech's Tech Tower.

Trees on the green.

High Museum Adventure

This past weekend, several of my close friends and I decided to embark on an adventure. A trop to Atlanta’s High Museum of Art.

Here are the highlights of my photos from the trip. My main take away- Modern art is weird.

A picture speaks a thousand words. This is definitely one of the more artsy shots I've attempted. Once again, this was completely HDR.

Modern Art.

My friend Whitney and this interesting mirror/window display. This was a cool one.

If I had a wide-angle lens, it would be easier to appreciate the ginormity of this mirror display. As is, I thought this would make a pretty good picture.
